We are a well-established, nurturing preschool set in the heart of the picturesque village of Taplow.
We offer high quality preschool education for children aged 2 years old to school age. Many of our children move on to Reception at local schools, including St Nicolas Combined School, and benefit from having friends move with them.
We first opened our doors in 1976 and have seen many children from Taplow and the surrounding areas pass through our doors.
My son loves going to St Nicolas Playgroup. I have seen his confidence grow during his time there. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend.
My son has just recently moved to St Nics Play Group and I can already see a difference in him. He is happier leaving me to go play group. The staff are always keeping me up to date with his progress and the committee working hard to help play group run smoothly. The best move we made.

My son attended the playgroup for 2 years and my daughter joined last September when she was 2.5. My son absolutely lovely his time at PG and still talks about the memories and experiences he had while he was there!The setting itself provides a very relaxed atmosphere for the children, yet it has the structured routine to prepare children for school.The ladies are so nurturing and the great staff ratio enables various activities for the children to enjoy with assistance and company both indoor and outside! the children have so much fun while learn through play at the playgroup.Parents are also invited to join in special events which give us the opportunity to build great memories with our children at this age!
